Jon was born in the corn-filled Midwest. He taught himself programming at age 12, moving from HTML to Javascript to Flash Games (remember those?). Studying Computer Science at school was a natural fit. After school he moved to the East Coast to work for government contractors, where he met his partner Nicole, then a Project Manager, now a professional writer. They drove across the country to San Francisco where he worked for a startup and then Facebook. He currently lives in Philadelphia and is an independent consultant.
He dreams of discovering a working compactification or replacement of M-Theory that is self-consistent and matches experimental observations.
